Dan Flynn has performed over 400 osteotomy procedures for dogs with cruciate ligament injuries. He holds a Certificate in Canine Sports Medicine (Cert CSM).
We now use tibial plateau levelling osteotomy (TPLO) for all our cruciate osteotomy repairs. In our clinical experience, TPLO has delivered the lowest complication rates and fastest recovery of the techniques we have used. Recovery varies between dogs, and we discuss the expected progress and possible complications for each patient.
Surgery with ongoing support
Your surgical fee includes postoperative checks. During recovery, you can send photographs and videos to our team through WhatsApp, helping us monitor your dog’s progress and offer guidance.
This can often save unnecessary journeys, particularly if you are travelling from further away. Photographs and videos support follow-up care, but we may still need to examine your dog in person.
We will explain the postoperative plan and how to send updates to the team. If you have an urgent concern about your dog, please call the practice.
