Please be vigilant if out on the Co Antrim beaches and others as a reminder of the Hemlock water dropwort ‘poisonous parship’ which is the most toxic plant in the United Kingdom, it is dangerous to both Human and Dogs.
Larne Borough Council has cleared away 15 kilos of root material from the beach, but is still washing up on the coasts.

As a read up from 8th February 2014 a family pet died five days after picking up the poisonous parship on the shore at Drain’s Bay, Co Antrim.
